Our Mission
At Hope Haulers Foundation, we believe that no one should face life’s challenges alone.
Our mission is to provide meaningful aid, support, and relief to individuals and families experiencing hardship whether that hardship comes in the form of unexpected financial struggles, vehicle breakdowns, natural disasters, or life’s many unforeseen obstacles.
We strive to be a helping hand both on the road and within our communities, ensuring that those facing difficult circumstances receive compassion, practical assistance, and renewed hope.
Who We Are
Hope Haulers Foundation was founded by Derek Dellinger and the team behind D&S Custom Conversions, built on a shared commitment to service, community, and helping others in real and practical ways.
Through years of work in skoolie conversions, RV systems, mobile repairs, and off-grid living, we’ve encountered countless individuals and families facing unexpected challenges often without the resources or support they needed.
Those experiences inspired the creation of Hope Haulers.
Whether it’s a family needing emergency repairs, a traveler broken down far from home, or a community rebuilding after disaster, we use our skills, tools, and resources to step in and help however we can.
Because sometimes the greatest impact comes from simply showing up and lending a hand.
What We Do
Mobile Outreach & Assistance
Through the resources and capabilities of D&S Custom Conversions, we provide mobile aid and repair assistance to travelers, nomads, and families experiencing hardship. From emergency repairs to practical support, we help people stay safe and keep moving forward.
Disaster Response & Relief
When communities face natural disasters or unexpected crises, we assist with delivering supplies, cleanup efforts, and hands-on support to help families and neighborhoods begin rebuilding.
Community Aid & Outreach
We provide essential resources such as food, clothing, hygiene kits, and support to individuals and families in need both on the road and within local communities.

Rooted in Christian values, our mission is grounded in compassion, service, and love for others. We believe in bringing encouragement, kindness, and hope wherever the road leads.

The Hope Haulers Outreach Bus Project
At Hope Haulers Foundation, we believe that real help often requires meeting people where they are.
That is why we are currently working to build our first mobile outreach vehicle a bus that will allow us to bring support, supplies, and assistance directly into the communities that need it most.
Our goal is to transform a bus equipped with a wheelchair lift into a fully functional mobile outreach and support vehicle capable of serving individuals and families facing hardship throughout our region.
Once completed, the Hope Haulers Outreach Bus will allow us to expand our efforts and respond more effectively to real needs within our community.
How the Outreach Bus Will Serve Our Community
The outreach bus will serve as a mobile support hub, allowing us to provide practical help and compassionate outreach wherever it is needed.
Some of the ways we envision the bus serving our community include:
Supporting Individuals Experiencing Homelessness
For many people experiencing homelessness, access to basic resources can be extremely limited. The Hope Haulers Outreach Bus will allow us to provide:
• Transportation assistance when possible
• A warm, dry place during cold or severe weather
• A safe place to charge phones or small devices
• Warm meals and essential supplies
• Hygiene kits and basic necessities
• Encouragement, conversation, and human connection
Our goal is not just to offer temporary relief, but to restore dignity, provide support, and connect people with resources when possible.
Community Outreach and Support
The outreach bus will also be used for community support efforts such as:
• Delivering supplies to individuals and families in need
• Supporting local outreach programs and events
• Assisting travelers or families facing unexpected hardships
• Providing tools and equipment to help people get back on their feet
Disaster Relief and Emergency Response
When disasters or emergencies impact communities, the outreach bus will allow us to quickly mobilize and assist with:
• Delivering relief supplies
• Supporting cleanup efforts
• Providing on-site assistance and support
Our Goal
To bring this vision to life, Hope Haulers Foundation is currently working to acquire and convert a bus equipped with a wheelchair lift that will serve as the foundation for this outreach vehicle.
Our immediate goal is to raise $15,000 to help acquire the bus and begin the process of converting it into a fully functional outreach platform.
Estimated project costs include:
• Bus acquisition – approximately $10,000
• Safety inspection and lift servicing – $1,500
• Retrofit materials and storage systems – $2,000
• Tools and outreach equipment – $1,500
With the support of individuals, businesses, and community partners, we can bring this outreach bus into service and begin making a meaningful impact.
